Byron Dresner has expertise in many areas of practice, representing corporate clients in various real estate transactions including commercial leasing. He has a unique specialty in Religious Corporations Law and Not-for-Profit Corporation Law. He has helped many religious institutions in the metropolitan area reorganize and merge with other religious corporations. He has successfully helped many organizations suffering from decline in membership become vibrant and has become renowned for his work in doing so. His far-reaching success can be attributed to his intellect and persistence to find a solution.

Before graduating New York University School of Law in1951, Byron Dresner graduated in 1949 from the City College of New York with a degree in BSS, having majored in social science.

Byron Dresner has practiced for over 68 years as a general practitioner. Over his many years of practice, he has represented clients in the purchase and sale of businesses, shareholders’ agreements and other corporate matters. He has also advised clients in estate planning and has frequently represented heirs in probate and administrative proceedings.

What Sets Him Apart - Civic Activities

In addition to being an experienced attorney, Byron Dresner has also been the President and Trustee of the Flushing Jewish Center since 1971, now known as Flushing Fresh Meadows Jewish Center. He was also the President of the Queens Jewish Community Council from 1982-1984 and the President of the Flushing Jewish Community Council from 1986-present. He continues to support many other associations throughout Queens through his consistent involvement.
